I hope everyone had a great Fourth of July! I decided to visit the Cincinnati Zoo for the first time in many years to test out taking photos at the zoo! I had a blast at the zoo and learned a lot! I brought my Canon 70-200 mm 2.8 lens and it did a beautiful job! I'm glad I was able to use that lens since I mainly use my portrait lens but man it gets heavy after awhile. I'm going to have to use it more or start working out or something!!
Sadly I wasn't able to get a good picture of the zoo's famous baby hippo, Fiona. I saw her, but it was so hot outside that she was cuddling up with her mom in the water in the corner of her exhibit. I'll go back sometime and try to snap some pics of her!!
